VEREDAS QUE GUÍAN, es un nuevo sistema podotáctil que complementa y mejora el actual circuito de baldosas, permitiéndole a la persona con discapacidad visual saber exactamente qué tipo de negocio o servicio básico tienen al lado con solo tocar la vereda con su bastón podotáctil o su pie. En este nuevo sistema, cada baldosa tiene una línea horizontal que les avisa sobre la cercanía de un local y sobre la inmediata lectura de lineas verticales que tendrá que cortar para saber qué tipo de local está a su lado.
SIGHTWALKS, is a new tactile floor tile system that integrates and improves on the current tile system, allowing visually disabled people to know exactly what kind of business or establishment they are passing by, just by touching it with their walking stick or feet. In this new system each tile has a horizontal line, which indicates that you are near an establishment, and vertical lines indicating the kind of establishment next to you.
